# There are secretly three kinds of experts 1. People with power related to the topic **Anointed Experts** 2. People with a platform related to the topic. 3. People with proficiency into the topic. (this last one is a little forced but I really wanted another P. Basically these are the people who actually have deep context around a topic.) Ideally all three of these would actually be the same people but that is not the case. Whether this was never the case or the problem has increased is unclear to me.
