Legibility enables action

Understanding a thing has to do with intuiting the affordances of a thing.
You know the possible moves you can make and can compare them. The mental model of a thing or process allows you to predict “if I do X, Y will happen.”

By contrast Mystification prevents action. Mysticism forces you to consult the oracle before every action.

People are hesitant to create new organization structures not because there’s anything stopping them but because what is allowed or disallowed is not legible. Nobody has any idea what the affordances of human systems are.

Legibility enables action because it removes the need for Trust. Trust enables action but Trust is hard to scale.
