# It’s expensive to experiment with brain-externalizing systems For people who in part live in brain-externalizing systems (here we could be talking about Evernote, Roam etc but for many people it’s Excel, photoshop etc.) it really does require rewiring your brain to use a different tool. So it’s very hard to just ‘experiment’ with a new one.
