Is it possible that there are just different scales that value capture can happen on?

There’s a prevailing thought that individuals and orgs can capture value from valuable things. Maybe there are some things that are really valuable but that can only be captured at the scale of a nation or humanity.

This would be supported also if you look within organizations, where some of the value is being captured much more or less. You could save a million dollars a year and it wouldn’t affect the junior.
