# DARPA Staff are Important DARPA staff are contractors from companies like [[Booz Allen Hamilton]] - they do jobs like schedule things (what else do they do?) They actually transmit a lot of long term culture. Weirdly they are both contractors and the people with less agency and power, which is the opposite of modern companies so it feels a little archaic, aesthetically similar to British Batmen or Yardham in [[The Dagger and the Coin]].
