# Academic-Government Hybrid Institution Academic-Government Hybrid institutions are associated with one or more universities. For example [[Applied Physics Laboratory at John Hopkins]] is associated with [[John Hopkins University]] while [[The Turing Institute]] is associated with many universities around the country. The examples I have seen so far are government funded.
